Apartment Reviews for Saybrook Pointe
Not worth the money

Parking is okay but not safe. There are constant break-ins inside and outside the complex. The neighborhood is sketchy, you can even hear GUN SHOTS every once in a while. Sometimes you’ll have the street lined with police cars at 3am. Oh, don’t even bother using the pool, the kids in the neighborhoods outside this complex use it as if it’s a community pool.
The MAIL BOX THEFT is ridiculous. It happens approximately once a month and management doesn’t do much about it. The won’t even tell you about it. They put the mail box back together and leave a note for the thief saying how stealing mail is a criminal act. One time I found it completely open (about 25 households worth of mail boxes) and empty on a Saturday afternoon and immediately went to the office only to have them say “oh… well, maintenance doesn’t work today. I’ll give the manager a call” You can also call back two days later to ask about the incident only to have the person who pick up the phone say “What mail theft? There’s been mail theft?” The maintenance doesn’t work on weekends, Manager doesn’t work on Saturdays, and nobody in the office can get their story straight.
The WALLS ARE THIN like paper, I have been falling asleep and waking up to my neighbor's thunderous snore every single day for at least six months now. The windows are thin and single pane, in the winter time there’s a cold draft from all my windows. There are these kids who rule the parking lot between the hours of 3 to 6pm. They play ball/hockey or skate. They have no concern for moving cars when they play and will not move for you. They are loud so you can kiss your quiet time goodbye. They also skate on the concrete walkways everyday! back and forth!! not only do they make YOU move for them, the skate board make this incredibly loud and annoying repetitive thud on the concrete and they scream as a form of communication.
