Our Review for Willow Lake Apartments
Landscaping features aside (all the water features and trees) Willow Lake Apartments are nice and well kept up. They are very affordable and the apartment is large for the cost. Work and grocery shopping are close and that makes it convenient. Other reviewers complained about parking but the situation is no different than anywhere else I have lived~ if you have a second car you have to expect to either pay for an extra spot or park one further away. Willow Lake Apartments are beautifully landscaped and yes, during the spring the trees have pollen. If you need to live somewhere the trees do not have pollen you will need a space ship to get there!

i share the opinion of most reviewers.
I was lucky enough to get a 2nd floor unit. It is quiet between 11PM to 8AM, and i enjoy my patio with great trees at proximity. However, they hire some landscaping dudes that are early bird, so dont plan on sleeping pass 8 AM, cause they literally blow leaves and cut grass every single morning from 8 AM.
The appartment condition is ok, not great. It s bit cheap, lots of stuff come out / get broken. The management is horrible. I'm about to get an attorney since i'm tired of having to fight for every single thing They basically blame everything on renters. their usual excuse is "we have more than 500 units we cant afford to do special treatment". they call special treatments things like calling when check bounce before sending a 3 days evac notice, or calling in before making visit in your appartements. Look for that lady called Dhin, she'll give you an idea of the service you'll receive!
all in all, its a good place while looking for a place! :)

Don't rent here even if they offer you a good deal to move in. That will not last. They will continue to raise your rent yearly at higher than average. They assume you will not want to move. If you are a current resident with any time here, they will NOT make adjustments to the current economic situation. People who move in are paying 30% less; while those who stay and are faithful are SCREWED!!!!!!! Most other places are negotiating rents with current residents due to the economy. This place will does not. There are no rewards for renting hre longer. They attract you to come and screw you once you are here. Plus, it is loud and unkept.

If you are new to San Jose, let me tell you that this is a very rich-looking appt. and great neighbourhood. Decent amount of Desi population. However, the surroundings are all companies, and kind of looks isolated on week-ends. About the Management: This appt were very well managed recently. However, when Prometheus took over the management they completely damaged the customer-landlord rapport. They are very rude and will never work with you to solve issues amicably. They'll talk law-stuff and would even threaten you of eviction if you pay your rent a little late. If you don't care a **** about the Mgt. then you could still consider this place. <P>
