Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008

Although the exterior is quite nice, I'm finding that the interior for this apartment is in need of some major remodeling. The appliances are old and should be upgraded along with the cabinets(during the walk-through inspection, a couple doors needed to be replaced because they were splitting which they replaced promptly)and the kitchen tile needs re-grouting. For the amount of rent I'm paying these should not be issues.

I have a outstanding maintenance issue that I submitted over 3 weeks ago and so far I've had to contact the office 3 to 4 times for updates with no relief nor any updates on progress. I get the impression that they're not very proactive.

The maintenance for the grounds I feel is above average. Well maintained and nicely manicured. Plenty of underground secure parking for a 2nd car and guests.

At this time I can't really recommend nor discourage renting at Bridgepointe. I find that the rent is somewhat high for what you get(or lack of) for the money. I plan to visit some other apartment developments in order to do some comparisons.
