Park Plaza is a newly renovated complex in southern Santa Ana conveniently close to both the 405 and 55 freeways. Von's for groceries is just a short bit away, along with other convenient shopping and good restaurants. The great news about Park Plaza is the apartments are huge, with two and three bedroom layouts that are spacious and updated. Laundry and fitness facilities are on site and a day care is very convenient for families with small children. The property includes a dog park and welcomes pets. Parking is the one thing is frustrating for some reviewers, but residents have the option to reserve extra space for a fee. One resident reviewer was clear she never had a problem with assigned spaces, just guest parking.

Cherry Creek Apartments provide a "relaxed and tranquil atmosphere" with landscaped water features, including lakes and streams surrounded by mature trees and green areas. The apartment layouts are large enough to be homey as well as their access to the conveniences of nearby shopping and restaurants make Cherry Creek a well-reviewed place to live. Many residents renew their leases at least once, so turnover is low. There have been pest complaints, but those who had treatment by pest control found the issue resolved.

Near Main Street, Brentwood is close to good public transit as well as arts and entertainment venues, which Santa Ana is known for. Resident reviews mention a slow response time for maintenance requests, but love that Pets are allowed, with a pet deposit and additional rent.

Santa Fe Village is owned and operated by Far West Management Company which also owns Aspen Village across the street. Some of the amenities must be shared between these two luxury properties. Resident postings find the place quiet and well guarded at night. For some, the proximity to neighborhood schools is problematic during student pick-up and drop-off times when access to and from the property may be blocked. According to reviews, an extreme event with a malfunctioning fire sprinkler appears was mentioned, but the matter may have been settled quietly as no further complaints are listed.
