Review for Aspen Village Apartments

We went Aspen Village, South coast metro looking for a apartment last week. Our first impression itself gave us doubts about the apartment's safety. They have huge gates but it is always wide open, guess its closed only in the evening.. what is the point??? there seems to be a security den with no security personnel at all..this is the heights of cost cutting. Fine, now my second bad experience was when i went to use the restroom in the club house/fitness center. It was disgusting! the closet was full of moulds/fungus. So there another point down..this shows that the maintenance is bad too. I'm sure if only the management could work on tightening up the security and maintenance, Aspen would be a nice to live in!. Anyways we found a nice apartment near Metro Pointe, they have cameras throughout the property, a night patrol, in house maintenance team and most importantly the gates are closed always and one needs authorization to enter the property and the rent is much cheaper than Aspen Village.
