Review for Park Plaza Apartments

There are many, many reasons to stay far, far away from this place. Let me "count the ways":

1. The place is filled with asbestos. When you sign the rental agreement, you must sign a waiver.

2. The *new* rental agreement requires you to carry a $100,000 insurance bond that indemnifies the management company.

3. The agreement also says that you are financially responsible for all water damage that is incurred. The problem is that the copper pipes under the foundation of the apartments have been disolving in the last couple of years...which has led to very costly repairs. The new management is

aware of this and they want to "stick" you with the cost when it happens (which it inevitablly will: all of these apartments were built around the same time. Just a matter of time before the copper disolves underneath all of the apartments on the ground floor)

4. The parking is atrocious. Simply not enough spaces. Good luck having friends over on a whim.

5. Noisy, noisy, noisy!

6. Rude, nasty neighbors.

7. 'Leagal beagal' management.

8. Did I mention that there is noooooooo parking??!? They actually make you pay for your spot!

9. Car thieves cruise through here regualary looking for cars to come back and steal! They actually tried to steal my car (Honda Acura) a couple of weeks ago. NO SECURITY GUARD!!!! They don't want to pay the money for him. When crime and vandalism starts to get really bad, then they hire a guard for a while until the word gets out that Park Plaze isn't a good place to hit...and then fire them again.

Lastly: You are sick in the head if you rent at Park Plaza Apartments in Santa Ana...simply insane.
