Review for The Aspens Fairhaven Apartments

Whenever I read a review which would help me make a decision to rent an apt I would really like people to list positive and negative points.So here I would like to start with the positive aspects.

POSITIVE: 1. The landscaping is fantastic.There is greenery all around.The place looks really beautiful and makes a good first impression.

2. The amenities offered include a tennis court which doubles up as a basketball court,a good fitness center with weights,a clubhouse,a sauna,2 swimming pools,3 laundry centers and assigned car ports.

3. The maintainence is quite good. I didnt have a lot of problems and I had to call the maintainence just once and they came within 2 hours.

4. They send a rent reminder every month and the office keeps packages if you are not at home.They are open 7 days a week so you can speak to them most of the time.

5. The office staff are friendly and always have a smile.

NEGATIVE:

1. It is not very secure but it is not the fault of management I think.They have security gates but I have seen cars enter behind you when the gates open.

2. There have been instances of car break-ins but these occur throughout the area.

3. There is a railway track nearby so be prepared for train noises though it stops to bother you after a time.

4. When you move out,they charge you for cleaning the carpet,repainting the walls (this is pro-rated,so you will have to pay less the more time you stay) and they charge you for the cleaning the apt regardless of how clean it is. I must tell you that this happens in other places too in California but the only difference is the other apt complex didnot mention this to us.So be prepared to shell out some money

But overall we had a pleasant time in the Aspens and we hope that this review helps you to make a decision.I would recommend this apartment complex to my friends and colleagues.
