Review for Villas At Tustin Apartments

The buildings look somewhat appealing from the outside but that is the only thing this property has going for it.
As stated before the management will make your life miserable, they are the rudest, meanest, most ugly people that I may have ever done business with. I am a pretty soft spoken person who tries not to upset anyone and rarely gets worked up but those people had me smoking mad by the time that I left. We signed a ten month lease that said "10 month lease" verbatum on the papers that we signed and they made us stay for 11 months because what they had on their computers was an 11 month lease even though our signatures were on the paper with 10 minths written across it. Illegal I know but my roommate and I both work and go to school full time and did not have the time or energy to go to court to fight it even though we threatened to and spoke to an attorney.
Parking is miserable- no guest parking whatsoever. THey have a waitlist to PAY for a second spot and told us that it would be 3 months at the most. 3 months went by and no word so we went into the office and asked for her to check if our name was even on the list at all. She refused and basically told us to stop wasting her time. I came back the next day and there was a new hire in the office I asked him to check the list and he said that our name was never put on the list at all. So guess what there we were finally on the bottom of the list and forced to wait another 3 months.
If you can find parking you need to get a car alarm. Cars are broken into all the time and I have been walking through the parking lots and seen guys with baseball bats tearing up a truck. They looked at me and kept bashing in the windows and lights. Scary. You should also get a body guard to live here -I received sexually explicit notes on my car from a group of guys that hung out in the parking lot every night. I even had a guy chase me, sprinting, through the complex and I had to run to two random guys also walking through the complex and ask them to protect me. Crazy I know. My roommate is also a young female, very attractive and had similar experiences with people in the parking lots.
I was in my apartment one day and the maintenence guy just walked right on it. I could not believe it.
Listen to this, my roommate was talking to one of the tennant in the hall and he said that he came home one day to find two guys in his apartment. When he asked them what they were doing they said that they used to live in that apartment and just wanted to see if their keys still worked. They did! Management had not changed the locks after the previous tenant. That is completely irresponsible, could have been dangerous, and shows how cheap the management was.
Speaking of cheap managment nothing is ever fixed. The laundry rooms are absurd. All of the washers and dryers are broken but amazingly they still take your money. The gym machines rarely work and when the do the fans and tv are broken. They do a lot of landscaping, noisy landscaping, but i guess i can give them some credit for that.
As for the crowd here at the villas it is rough. I found a 3 year old roaming the parking lots naked one night and midnight and had to call the police finally about 3 hours later this lady, beat up from the feet up, came to claim her and showed no remorse for somehow allowing her naked 3 year old out in the middle of the night while she was sleeping. This kid could barely walk and not even talk. I'm shocked the police even let her have the kid. They were talking about taking her to the hospital to do some kind of child abuse rape kit because of the condition that she was in but never did.
you do have 6,7,8 people occupying some units and beecause of that your untilities are sky high even if you are a single in your unit. you dont pay for your own usage, you pay the average of everyone else.
I read another review that said that the people lived on the second floor and they pulled the stairs out to replace them and the lady opened her door and fell out hurting herself. This is exactly the kind of thing that I would expect from this place. And I feel bad for that lady.
I like to give people and places the benefit of the doubt but this place really has NO benefits that I ever experienced. I am writing this to beg you to resort to some other living situation don't let the cheap rent lure you in. You will really be sorry, living in your car is far more accomadating then this place and at least your car has central air. And locks that no one else has the key to. RUN!!
