Review for Briarwood Apartments

I have lived here for a while, and I have seen the management of this complex go from fair to terrible. The apartments are actually quite old, but well built. Yet, cost-cutting maintenance ahs resulted in many of them becoming run down looking. Here are the salient points:
1) The maintenance is of poor quality materials
2) The carpets need to be replaced in most apartments as do the appliances.
3) This complex is not safe either. I had a motorcycle stolen and lots of cars have their stereos stolen. The security company doesnt care and simply say the patrol twice a night and are not liable for any security issues.
4) Also, the management doesnt appear to screen new tenants! We have people with known police records for neighbors.
5) In last 6 months, the water supply has been a problem. At least once a month the management schedules some work so they shut off the water supply for a day. Then for at least 3-4 days after that the boilers dont function right (not fun in the winter).
In summary, we will move out as soon as the lease is over!
