Review for Briarwood Apartments

When we moved here almost 5 years ago, my husband and I were so excited with the place. It was going to be a great place to move into with our kids. Then I noticed a drastic change starting to happen with the complex. First, they towed our vehicle from our carport spot because our tags had expired. Mind you, there were at least 5 more cars under same circumstances that were not towed. When I mentioned it to the manager, I was told that they were going to be towing more. They never did. The walls in this place are so thin, so if you have a small baby, I suggest not moving here or they will never get any sleep. My poor 7 month old has been getting woken up at least 2 times a night by our neighbors. Then came the squirrels in my attic. I took 3 days of "unpaid" time off to be there for them to come fix, but 2 out of 3 times, they did not show up! After they did come in, I had insulation and feces left all over my clothes in my closet. They didn't even bother to clean it up!I have pictures to prove it, (thinking about calling the local news channel). Both of my indoor cats got fleas from this. They tried fixing it by plugging the hole, but 6 months later they are back. I want to note though that the maintenance person did all that he had the resources to do, I don't blame him at all. Now for the water, they charge you for water based on occupancy and Sq. ft. of apartment along with volume. So because I live in a townhouse (which is bigger) I end up paying more for others to use as much water as they want. They implemented a "boiler fee" which is a boiler that warms up the water you use, but if it takes 3-5 minutes to run the water just to get it warm, then you get stuck paying for the volume! When I asked them to fix the water on Wednesday, I get told Friday afternoon after I had to call them again,"Well, we are going to try and get someone out on Monday". So I have to continue (with a baby) to go without hot water for the whole weekend when you knew about the problem on Wednesday? Well I think that I should tell you when it's time to pay rent that I'll have to get it to you on Monday. They still expect me to pay almost $2000 a month for a place that's not worth the money. I HAVE HAD IT WITH THIS PLACE!
