Apartment Review for Mesa Gardens

GYM:
The gym sucks. It looks like some home made sauder board to do inclined sit ups, be careful, it may break, and a stair climber. If you want a gym, you won't find it here. It's a gym room, lacking the machines and gym gear!

PARKING:
You are not allowed to back your car in. They don't want your exhaust to get the walls dirty of the car ports. Maybe they should paint them darker than off white/cream. The apts are painted a darker color, why not the carports. We have to pull in forward, but we cannot pull in all the way, b/c the bottom of our car scrapes the step they have in the front of the car port. We also have speeders who drive thru and nearly hit us. I hope one day I do not find myself facing an insurance claim. There are other limited parking spots, some reserved for visitors only, or you will be towed so many are forced to park on the busy street. Why not let the visitors park on the street, since they are not paying tenants? Or the tenant can give up their spot for their visitor?

WATER:
When other tenants in our block use water, we feel it. Each time we take a shower, it takes 15-20 min longer b/c we have to step to the side when we get scolded by hot water when someone else showers, flushes, does dishes... ect from other apts. We don't bother changing the temperature anymore... it doesn't work. Just wait it out. It can take 3 min or so each time.

MAINTENANCE:
Good to go. I agree with the other review. The maint has to be the best. If you have an issue, it is resolved asap. We hardly ever need it, but when we do it's taken care of that day.

STAFF/MNGMT:
Don't really know about them. They have changed since we moved in. The gal that used to work here was nice, the new ladies. Well, they sure do make a lot of errors with bills, lease renewals, vehicle tickets for towing, ect. I don't know if they get tired or what... but those mistakes cost the tenants money. The tenants shouldn't have to pay for the staffs mistakes.

SPIDERS:
Horrible! They are big and everywhere. Too many! I purchased one of those electronic pest repellers to deter them. Either the electronic pest repellent doesn't work worth a **** or the spiders are just that good! I don't know. Either way, I kill a few spiders a day. I know SoCal is bad for them, so you probably cannot blame the apts, but there are so many.

SAFETY:
Inside the gates... good to go. Outside of the gates, barrio/ghetto/hood. The sherif helicopter patrols which can be rather loud, many many sirens, I've heard a couple of shootings. One at 2am, the other some time at night. Inside these apt gates I feel fine but outside it's not the greatest place. Especially on Anza Rd.
