Review for Newland Apartments

I put in a phone number of all 5's for the office. There is no real phone number for the office. My contract has no address for the office or phone number. I was given the managers home and cell number don't feel that it would be ok to give that out. The owner (a lawyer) purchased this place last year. He is putting a lot of money into this place. He just recently put a new water heater, now we all get hot water and don't have to wake up at 3am to take a shower when nobody else is. The manager keeps up the property pretty good and works hard at it. When something goes wrong inside you must put it in writing. I have reported (verbally) of many things and only if there is a problem that will damage the property will it get fixed. This place has old aluminum wiring. A/C's are old and don't give relief to cooling. Front doors are made of paper thin, like a closet door. You can hear your neighbor pass gas (really). This would is over all a pretty good place. There are only 14 units, every once and a while you will hear a party from people outside of their unit. The tenants with dogs let their dogs loose in the neighborhood and let the poop where ever and the owner of the pet does not pick up after them. The manager does nothing about that, they are buds. Never give personal opinions about yourself of anybody else, the manager will let every one know about it in time. Manager is a good person but slips the tongue of others. I wonder what has been said about me.

Over all the place is pretty good and getting better, the owner purchased a lemon when he got this and is working on making it better. Manager is one of the best I have been around and acts concerned. If you don't like to party, love to have you here.
