Resident reviews agree that maintenance "works all the time" and does a good job and the grounds are kept well, but do not feel the office staff is consistent enough with their policies. Parking is cited as an issue, although there is assigned covered parking available for an extra charge. Landings at Buckley Apartment Homes, formerly called Hickory Ridge, is in the southeast portion of Aurora. It is a large complex of 688 units, offering one to three bedroom apartment homes and is advertised to be undergoing a complete renovation starting in March of 2013. The update will include wood laminate flooring, stainless steel and black finish on appliances, and granite style counter tops. The complex is near Rangeview High School and in a well-rated school district. Resident reviews cite issues with getting maintenance problems resolved in one visit, resulting in multiple requests for maintenance. Sanctuary At Heather Ridge, formerly Heather Ridge Apartments, has a new remodel to go with the new name. Resident reviews make it clear that the management change that came with the remodel really did make changes for the positive. Negative reviews are addressed directly by management, along with reassurances that any remaining issues should be brought forth. Reflections At Cherry Creek is in south central Aurora right next to Cherry Creek Reservoir and all the hiking trails that are part of that park. These apartments are located near major freeways with access to Downtown, shopping, medical facilities, entertainment and recreation. One recent review said simply that he/she was happy living there and always had a good experience with the pleasant staff. One reviewer had a problem and was released from her lease without trouble. Greensview Apartments is in southeastern Aurora and some units overlook the Centre Hills Golf Course. The property is also close to Buckley Air Force Base, convenient for military personnel. Reviews imply there is a difference in quality between one phase of building and another, and those in newer units appear to be happier with their apartments. Management does not respond to online reviews or complaints, perhaps because not all come from residents, some post reviews despite never having lived in Greensview. This apartment complex has one of the best resident review ratings in Aurora, largely due to the well-respected and well-liked staff. Management is described as experienced and helpful, and the community is friendly and safe. Maintenance is also rated well, "superb" in fact. The Savoy at Dayton Station, formerly The Savoy At Hampden Town Center, is in the Cherry Creek school district. The complex is within walking distance of retail and light rail service and close to 225. There are different phases of this complex, some with townhome-style buildings with garages and some more traditionally styled apartments, but without a "cookie cutter" apartment feel. Resident reviews like the layout, the storage space, and the balconies. Some reviews of the older phase cited less than ideal construction, but management actively reads and responds to every review, offering solutions even for people who no longer live in the complex. The Fitz Apartments are with walking or biking distance to the Anchutz Medical Campus. Both furnished and non-furnished units are available and parking is adjacent to the building. General's Park is also within an easy walk and is a pleasant place to picnic or run.
