Apartment Reviews for Sanctuary At Heather Ridge - Aurora

I recently moved out a month ago from a year lease and must say the apartment itself is spacious and up to date, I loved it so much! I lived in a 3 bedroom with kids and husband. My children were 8 and 9 and I could watch them play outside at the playground from my living room window and balcony. If only the area they played at was cleaner and the elevators to get in and out actually worked. I can only speak for myself and children when I say we are very respectful to our community we live in and the people we live with. So when it came to the trash left by other children and residents my family and I would go outside and clean the area at the end of the day on an occasion of complete disaster. Sad but true because we as residents pay for a clean living environment. As long as my children were playing outside we wanted to keep the area clean. Dont get me wrong maintenance would clean every morning but by the end of the day it was a mess. I wish other families could show a little more respect for the area we all lived in. The only other issues were a noisy neighbor across the hall always fighting with her significant other till 4-5am. People have issues guess it comes with living in a large property with other people, right. Lastly the parking during the winter was horrible! The maintenance would not clean the parking lot very well so almost every morning it would be a nightmare to get out of the parking lot let alone the parking space itself. Overall I would give them a 3-4 star rating out of 5. I would have liked to stay another year but wanted to get a town home instead. Give them a look and ask lots of questions. As for safety and crime you can always check with the Aurora Police Dept. about the crime in the area. Hope this helps!
