Review for Turnberry At Heatheridge Apartments

I came to look at the apartments and they would ONLY show me the model. I like the model, they told me my unit was EXACTLY like it. They had my sign my lease and said I would see my apartment but never got to until I moved in. Everything was completely FILTHY, there were BUGS EVERYWHERE! Silverfish, black bugs, roaches, ants, mice and had to kill at least 3 giant spiders a day. I was so terrified of the area after I moved in and totally disgusted with the condition of my unit. Tried to get out of my lease because I didnt even get to see it before I signed the lease. They would not let me out of my lease but let me look at some other units. I looked at 5 different units and EVERY SINGLE one was disgusting like this. Every place smelled of cat urine and every place was infested with bugs. I turned them in to the better business bureau. I lived in the unit for 5 days and moved all my stuff out and turned in my key on the fifth day. For 7 months I had to pay for that apartment even though the apartment was available to rent within a week that I moved in and someone moved in at least 3 months after I moved out and I still had to pay. The office staff is SOOOO Shady and they are just a bunch of liars. They will try to steal from you and get money from you and screw you over any way possible. The area is VERY dangerous no matter what they say. There is not ONE good thing about this apartment. Take my advice. Do NOT live here.
