Review for Winridge Apartments

I lived at this place with roomates for a year. and liked that apartment enough i signed a second lease for a diferent apartment with them and spent 6 months in that apartment. now over a year after moving out. they claim i never paid my last two weeks rent and they are trying to charge me 500$ for those 2 weeks. they never sent us a bill for it and it went into collections. i thought the collection agency was a joke they couldn't say my name right and it's an american name you hear everyday. the collection agency is based in tampa florida and we made a deal to pay part of it right away and they would forgive the late charges. now 3 months later after paying that they are saying they never got the money from the collection agency.

This is the biggest scamming apartment complex ever. they got there money on time actually before it was due. then they sent a bill to collections and never sent it to us. the bill was a joke and should never have been. then even after we paid it they say they never recieved the money from collections so they are trying to re collect on a bill that is already paid and should have never been.

then on the other hand, when we moved into the 2nd apartment there was water damamge everywhere on the walls. the carpet was dirty, we never had hot water, the pool was always dirty, it's like a ghetto cuz there's children running around breaking into everything! there is graffiti on the buildings, my friends car was stolen from the parking lot and they didnt do anything and they have no security cameras, the sand volley ball court is just a big litter box for all the stray cats. there is dog poop everywhere and the tennis court was so broken down it was just a big place to have drunken parties! the lady that helped us with our lease was fired for god only knows why and last the "gym" that they show such nice pictures of none of the equipment works- it is all broken and the treadmill shuts off if you go past a walking speed.
