Positive Apartment Reviews and Ratings
Not as good as it looks ( over a year ago )

I moved to the Boulders because of the great location, pool and year-round hot-tub, and beautiful apartment floorplan. While I am very happy with my apartment, the amenities have been extremely disappointing. The hot tub was a major draw for us and made it worth the high rent. Unfortunately, it is broken constantly. We moved here in July and for 4 out of our first 8 weeks, the hot tub was shutdown for repairs. Even after it was "repaired" it is freezing cold more often than it is warm. The maintenance man is well-intentioned, but he can't seem to keep up.
When I brought the problem to the attention of Autumn, the manager, she said that the amenities are "not included in our rent" (even though the hot tub and pool allow them to charge much higher rent than a comparable complex without those amenities) and thus they are not really obligated to keep them up and running.
I don't know if I would recommend this complex or not. I love my apartment, my neighbors are nice, and the area is beautiful. The rent is really high, though, and hot tub was the only reason we were ok with paying so much. I have been very sad not to be able to use it. If you just want a creative floorplan in a nice location, the Boulders is great. But if you want to be treated well by the staff, enjoy working amenities, and have some money in your pocket, consider looking elsewhere.
