Apartment Reviews for Sterling University Peaks Apartments - Boulder

SUP is a great college apartment. I've been here for more than a semester and would live here again. You just have to remember this is a college apartment not a hotel. The plusses to this place are the close location to campus, the abundant free resident parking. The abundant laundry and drier machines(I think there has maybe been 1 occasion when they were all full), each person also gets their own bathroom(yess!) and the free internet. This apartment by no means caters to families or adults. Most of the tenants go to cu. I am not a drug user and have had no problems avoiding parties/noise/drugs. They do have a phone # to call if you do have a noise complaint. The doors are locked at every entrance. There is a small gym, a tanning bed for free use by tenants, and a pool with a hot tub. I would say the hot tub works 75% of the time: but that's better than no hot tub or maintaining one yourself. Drawbacks include a weak heating system (if it gets below 0 the temp in our apartment drops below 60), the lack of living room area, and the parking police who will boot your car in 30 seconds literally if you don't display a parking pass. Also, this establishment is not handicap friendly. There are no elevators and no handicap parking spots. That said, you get what you pay for in boulder, and I am happy with what I got.

I love this place because you can choose to be as social as you want. I you want to stick to yourself that's fine, but if you want to get out and meet people than there is an awsome community just waiting to welcome you. I met my best friend here and renewed my lease so that i could live here with her. The staff works hard to keep the place up and even though we are going through a ton of renovations and we have to say last a little while through some of them (like no internet for a week) it's all worth the improvements it's bringing (the internets now way faster) all together its a nice place that has residents that make it great! <P>
