Review for Carefree Village Townhomes Apartments

I love my home and wanted to respond to the whiners on here. IF you are looking for a place please know every place has its issues and there are always people upset that they are being forced to pay their rent who will write horrible reviews to "hurt" managers. (To some people being asked to pay their rent on time and in full = money hungry! )It also states in our lease that holding over (ie not moving out at the end of your lease) is not allowed. So those people being pushed to sign a renewal are being asked to follow their lease (gasp!)
As to the heat/ac issue.. I don't use a fan or a/c or anything else. I have an infant and I open two windows on each floor and get a great breeze through that keeps us great. We have a fireplace for heat AND each room has its own thermostat to keep each room as warm/cool as needed in the winter. Plus these apartments are built to be naturally cooler and I think they are!
As for leases some people have been here longer than others and rent does get raised occasionally. And not all Section 8 folks are unemployed! I would love to have that persons name to give to the section 8 folks in the neighborhood!
As for the letting anyone in.. the people that had the ONE major fight in the neighborhood about a month or two ago had been here for TWENTY years. Her teenage sons got into a fight over a girl and she was served paperwork by the office before the police even left that night. I think that was an awesome job that not only did Holly respond within a minute of my phone call she stayed until the police left and took care of the situation immediately.
Noise complaints.. there are a few loud residents. All apartments have them! But anytime I hear noise I do as I am supposed to do and call Holly. She answers her phone 24 hours a day or calls right back if she misses you. She ALWAYS responds within five minutes of my call to hush noisy neighbors or calls the police to hush them when necessary. It would be great if ALL of our neighbors were perfect and always quiet but that happens NOWHERE. At least here our management is on site (living right here among us) and responds to things as quick as she can to take care of any problems!
I love that we have EIGHT security cameras so when things happen that we don't know about Holly can pull it up on the screen and we can find out who did what.
Parking... we have a private garage, one vehicle is allowed to park in front of our garage and we have several spots to park in on each side of the community. There is also on street parking available so I don't know what that person was talking about about parking!
Holly and Mike are great managers! I love them both! They take care of the place the best I have seen and I have been through some apartment managers in my time! Holly works with the kids (instead of immediately going to parents) and does the park patrol, the movie night was great too bad the parents ruined it by not taking care of the kids and letting the management watch their children all night (parents used the time for some "alone" time instead of family time). I can see why it was discontinued. I was there, it was a disaster!
So anyway, this is a great place with great management who are more than willing to work with anyone in any circumstance as long as you are willing to work with them! I love it here and I will stay here until I die! :)
