I picked these apartments from online without seeing them in person first or knowing the exact location. It is about 15 minutes from post. I love the fact that these apartments have washers and dryers in them. Most around post only offer washer/dryer connections... The rooms are average size.. Big enough to fit a kingsize bedroom suite in. THe living room and bedrooms do not have light in them, That's one downfall..It's a safe community. The only times I have seen the cops here was regarding our neighbors that lived across the hall from us and I think that was because of a domestic dispute. The pool is always cold but kids love it, there's no tables out there to have a cookout or anything, The only noise I have to complain about is you can hear the neighbors quite a bit when they are walking by or the wall that connects if we are in our bathrooms and they have their music up loud.. which rarely happens..and the kids/pre-teens playing outside but they don't really bother me because they are just kids... The main problem is the parking...You have one designated parking place but sometimes it's a distance away from your apartment and the parking places are soo close that it's hard to get out of your car, and rent is going up and is outrageous for it to be a little bit further from post, I think. The community is always clean. Maintenance is always friendly and so is management. But all in all I think these are great apartments. There are better apartments and there are worst..

I cant believe what the last two people wrote on their review, they are seriously disturbed.The only reason I can think that they wrote those good reviews is because they are as ghetto as the property and staff..Hmm maybe comfortable in their own enviroment is what I"m thinking!!

I would not listen to the negative reviews of one clearly mentally challenged person. You can see the obvious grammar, sentence structure, and choice of words to tell its all the same person.
The site is state regulated and anyone who knows anything about the strict and closely monitored nature of a government agency knows racism and discrimination is a definite HUD attention getter.
I will agree the previous maintenance staff was lacking in ability, but changes have been made to correct that and now the property is seeing definite improvement. The site is fairly new so luckily it was fixed before it had a chance to get bad.
The office staff has always been professional in my dealings with them, and I have never seen the slightest inappropriate behavior from them. I admit I sometimes get upset when it comes to renewing my lease because of all the paperwork, but I know its only state regulations, and not the office staff who are simply doing their jobs.
I would recommend living here to anyone. I love my apartment and would not think about living elsewhere. I get a lot for my money and at my age the upkeep of a home would be to much.
I would say be your own judge. Dont let the ravings of an obvious lunatic keep you from a great opportunity.
My experience at Fountain Springs is so far a great one. I have never had problems with the staff, my apartment, parking, noise, or people living at Fountain Springs.
The staff's professionalism is towards the highest standard and they are very informative when I have questions. Maintenance usually responds the day of or within 48 hours whenever I needed something checked out. Nights are quiet and my neighbors pets go unnoticed. The security gate keeps our neighborhood safe and unwanted people out.
I enjoy living here and as I read these negative reviews and they do not make any sense to me. No one is racist or discrimatory in the office. I am only stating real facts and what I have witnessed as a resident. This is a great place to live.

I live here and these reviews are unfounded! This is one of the nicest places to live at. They are kept up very well and anytime anything needs fixing management makes sure maintence is out to take care of it ASAP! The apartment are very nice inside kept up well. We have a great staff here that help and take care of our needs and they go out of their way to help us with even little things. All the apartments have plenty of room in them and we have very good envoirment for everyone. Everyone here is treated the same and equal. They work very hard to keep the noise level workable for everyone at all times as well as safety and parking. This complex is also a hud complex and being so it is an excellent place to live. Like most places who accept housing they are substandard and I praise the staff here on how hard they work to keep this complex up to maximum condition and maintenance. So anyone who would chose to live here would be lucky to live here. These people who are trashing our home don't live here or are just sick people. I recommend you see and check it out for your self and see that I am telling the truth.

I pray that the corporate office or theownership will investigate the property manager Lisa Loflin very soon , she is a Nazi biggot that hates anyone that isn't white ! Lisa Loflin thinks she is better than everyone else and doesn't help with any issues or complaints ! The fountain springs apts are turning to ghetto apts fast and nothing is ever done about it ! Fire Lisa Loflin ! Lisa Loflin hates blacks, Jews,Mexicans. And Asians ! Do not ever deal with her , she has mental problems and will get revenge with the maintenancecrew becair she is a coward ! *ALL* of the staff a Fountain Springs have been nothing but good to us. We have had a wonderful time here. Yeah, there are interruptions in silence and what some might consider normal. However, I have yet to live in an apartment that doesn't have its interruptions. I would wager that if you were to look at the previous reviews that you would find that they parted ways on bad terms, and the people writing them initiated the parting. <P>
I would move my entire out of state family here if I could. They would love it...and you'll love it, too. <P>
The maintenence staff are good people. Every person I have ever talked to in the office have been good people. They are excellent at customer service. <P>

The construction between floors is very poor as you can hear everything upstairs neighbors do - walking, yelling, babies crying, children running, at ALL HOURS etc. <P>
Management seems minimally concerned about resident safety and the computer room is down ususally for months at a time. <P>
They do not enforce noise safety and let police handle all complaints - high turnover of office staff + no one documents complaints in file. A big problem when management doesn't live on site to witness incidents making it difficult to believe they even care about their own rules/residents. <P>
DON'T LIVE NEAR THE POOL since kids are always screaming bloddy murder throughout the summer and office doesn't bother quieting them most of the time and after 6pm it's a police matter. <P>
Definitely look for a townhome, condo or house - this is 2nd very poor apartment since 2000. <P>
