Residents can travel to the nearby Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Pioneers Museum, or the Peterson Air & Space Museum Foundation. Military residents have a short commute to the United States Air Force Academy in the northern edge of the city or the Peterson Airforce Base in the south. In spite of the location, occupants disapprove of the Coppperhead Road Honkey Tonk Saloon across the street and feel that the area, along with the maintenance of the apartment complex, has declined in recent years.
