Apartment Review for Tanager Meadows

My husband and I lived here for a year. We didn't realize what we were getting into. The managment is horrible and will charge you for any work order and will not refund your deposit on move out. They are also very rude and if you happen to complain about a neighbour throwing parties they will tell the neighbour what you said. There is a police station right across the street but they don't care about any tennant living at Tanager Meadows and will not even show up for a call. Gunshots, gangs, drugs, and burglary and common place. The walls are paper thin, maitence does a crap job fixing things, there is only one lock on the front door. Big draft problem and water heater is a joke. Plumbing sucks and water is unsafe. You will get little pieces of rust in your water when you turn on the faucet. No one cleans up after their dogs. Managment refuses to acknowledge any problem and equally refuses to fix any problem. The only fixing up that occured was to the management offices the apartments are still crap. Tanagaer Meadows is located in the ghetto of Colorado Springs if you want a nice and affordable place to live look elsewhere!
