Apartment Review for The Meadows At Cheyenne Mountain

we had moved in as soon as we could get an apartment. with a baby on the way and no where to live we had to move in ASAP!
there were so many thing wrong with this apartment. there was damage on the floor from moving fridges and washing machines and dryers. there was damage on the doors, and in the bathrooms. maintenence people had said and marked on documents that there was nothing wrong when we moved in.(LIES!)
so when we move in, our dryer didn't work, and then the washer soon broke. we had them replaced and again got machines that still didnt work.
we had a dog for a short time, and we kept the carpets very clean. we had them cleaned multiple times before we had moved out. we made sure that apartment was spotless. we had to pay a full months rent when we moved out in the middle of the month.
we asked when we could get our pet deposit back, and our rent deposit back and thye told us in 60 days we would get it. they refused to do a walk through with us present. they didnt contact us at the end of the 60 days we did. and when we did it took them 3 days to get back in touch with us. then they told us that we have an 800 dollar balance with them. but they wouldnt tell us what for.
they replaced the carpets and painted and did maintenence repairs (which they tell people they do when anyone moves out) and now we are being charged for all of that. AND we aren't getting our deposits back.
they charged us for really little dumb things like, leaving a bag af trash outside our apartment door while we were cleaning. it was as if they picked random people to hassle all the time. people three floors above us left piles of garbage outside their door all week and let their dog pee on the wooden balcony while it dripped onto everyone below them. they never got fine's for any of these things.
BUT EVERYBODY ELSE DOES!!!
the staff is rude, they are never in their office. they take "lunch breaks". its as if everyone goes on vacation for the day... EVERYDAY! one the leasing agents, (amanda), dresses like some kind of road whore. and she think's she RUNS the place.
the apartments are cheaply made. and repairs are never really MADE.

if u want to go broke live here. rent may not be over the top. but they will charge you for every little thing until you have nothing left. when you move out, be prepared to be charged for every little thing they see fit. some people have said that they pocket the charges. they charge for things that are not specified in the lease.

if you live here just be prepared.

o yeah and btw, my truck and a few other vehicles were broken into here. literally, our windows were smashed out. so it is not the safest place to live either. there are police there all the time.
