The Mezzo Apartments in Capital Hill, CO are actually a reincarnation of Sherman Tower Apartments, which were the first high-rise apartments in Denver built in 1951. The name changed to Mezzo a few months ago with new ownership, and the service went down considerably. Apparently a trendy new name is cause enough to raise the rent in an old and tired building. The office staff, with the exception of Mimi, are the most incompetent bunch of folks you will ever deal with. Talking to them is like talking to a brick wall, although less fun. Parking is problematic if you don't pay $100/month for a garage spot in the building. In all - its a good place for college kids b/c of the location, and still a fairly decent price for downtown living. Just don't expect The Ritz or anything close to it.
