We lived in the Gold Coast section and it was a joke. They drive you around with a pretty girl in a golf cart and treat you real nice. Everything seems in order. Sign the lease and the niceties abrubtly end. The building is very poorly built. We were living in the 2nd story and the walls shook when the tenants above us walked around. The worst comes when it's time to move out. We cleaned the place immaculate but were told we had to pay an auto $100 for painting because we were leaving just before the 12 Months was up. And be very carefull what you sign with this crowd. They are unscrupulous. $50 bucks for the little parking sticker...etc. 2 Months waiting for the security deposit....excuse after excuse! Teaser rate to get you to sign. Then if you want to renew the lease they bump it up big time even if the place is half empty. Real nice. Your all sorted and don't want the nightmare of moving and then the Breakers ups the monthly by $300-$400 month. They also demand a full criminal background on you as well as the normal credit checks. The Breakers will have more info on you than the Cops by the time you have signed the lease. Finally...trying to deal with the little pretty 20 yr old managers is a complete waiste of time. They act like they are your Supervisor. Egos out of control. If it's managed by the Field Company. Run like hell. You work hard for that money they take OHHH so easy from you.
