Apartment Reviews for Cambridge Place Apartments - Denver

am presently trying to get the funds together to pay them off and get out of my lease ASAP. Otherwise, I will just have to try to somehow survive several more months of ****. I am going to have to move out with essentially nothing so to not move bed bugs with me. I HAVE ONLY BEEN THERE SINCE MARCH 2010 and feel it has ruined my entire life (and I am not just being a drama queen). I have lost nearly everything.

PLEASE READ THIS WARNING:
There is a huge bed bug problem in all buildings. I can only assume all units infested to some degree. You will have/get them eventually. See http://bedbugregistry.com Do your research on these pests. Notoriously difficult to treat and get rid of. It is not under control. They need to agressively and effectively treat this and they are not. I personally have seen and killed 3 bedbugs and have suffered multiple bites. Only been given/offered bare minimum "treatment" as far as pest control.

Staff was super nice at first. Once I moved in, indifferent at best.
I don't know how they get by with no/very little handicap access.
Elevators work mostly but are scary.
They paint in the hallways almost all the time for some reason. Hope you like that smell.
Grounds are a mess. Common areas not properly cleaned or sanitized by any standard.
Scary huge dogs owned by some neighbors. Lots of dog barking at all hours. Noise is problem; paper thin walls.
No bathroom storage (in my unit at least). You would think they could build some cabinets under the vanity and sink.
Don't feel 1 washer and dryer on each floor is adequate and they are not kept clean.
Horrible water stain above my shower. Scared of mold issues.
Under my kitchen sink, bottom of cabinet totally warped due to water damage.

I have also heard rumors of mice, although I have not personally seen one (yet) and hope I don't before I make my escape.

No safety or security to speak of. Half the time "locked doors" are open/broken.

Do yourself a favor and pass on this wretched place. I have only been here a short time and wish I had. I took it for the cheap rent price but not worth it.

Just this morning (overnight) 2 sofas appeared at the garbage dumpster. That is a sign the bed bug infestation is getting worse. This management company has to be stopped from renting to unsuspecting new tenants who have no idea what they are walking into. A judge should stop them from leasing until they eradicate their pest problem.
