Apartment Reviews for Park Avenue West Residences - Denver

Moved in Summer of 2011 to a low income apartment in the Champa building without even seeing the place beforehand and I could not be happier with the apartment. The tall ceilings and windows really made the space feel huge. Management staff was more than helpful and able to get me into my apartment with only a few days notice. Every time I had a maintenance request it got fixed within 24-48 hours. My neighbors were also great, everyone that lives here is super nice and down to earth. I loved that I could walk to and from work downtown and that it was near Curtis Park and a dog park. The only problem with the location is the proximity to the homeless shelters. Never had a real problem with the homeless although there were a few uncomfortable moments walking home, but they were few and far between. I wouldn't be too worried about it. Overall I enjoyed my time here, and I would take the older reviews with a grain of salt. The management must have changed or something because I haven't had any problems.
