Great spot! ( 11/07/2012 )

Moved here in July. Pretty quiet, neighbors keep to themselves. The management is nice and accomodating. They have a couple of full time maintenance guys who are fantastic, as well. Apartments are clean, haven't had any bug issues. Love the large size of the balcony. As a dog owner, I love this area. Everywhere you go, there are baggies/trash supplied. Just a skip over to Infinity Park to throw the ball. Easy access to the Cherry Creek bike path. Everything you need is close, plenty of grocery stores/eateries within walking distance. Not far to Wash Park, and easy access to I-25. Never have had any concern for safety at night in this neighborhood.

So...I was searching for apartments on the internet while still in Ohio. I came across this apartment complex as well as a couple others in the area I was looking. A couple of days before I arrived in Denver to scout these places out and make a decision I came across the apartmentratings website. Just let me say WHOA! Every single place I was going to go tour this week was on that website with really negative reviews.
Obviously I was then really scared to tour any of the apartments on my list. I began making phone calls over again. I spoke with the people that worked at the apartment complexes and started questioning them on issues I see other people have had. Many people seemed overwhelmed by the hard questioning and some what rude. BUT I finally found two places I still wanted to tour. One was YES Blake and Allison. The other complex was a block away called Brittania Heights. I am now rating them both HIGH on my list!
I spoke with Vasha I think her name was at Blake and Allison. She was really polite and answered all of my questions. She made me feel like I was asking really smart questions and wanted me to come tour right away. I did and she was really nice in person to. She showed me different floor plans they had and the price ranges. She showed me their property which was really nice. I saw an outside and inside pool, she showed me the laundry rooms, the extra storage facilities, the trash chutes (I love that idea!), and a lot more. I was really happy with the whole situation. She turned me from a scaredy Jenny to a happy Jenny. LOL.
I plan to turn my application in for a two bedroom at Blake and Allison. I also recommend Brittania Heights. I toured there to but decided to pay more and get a bigger two bedroom at Blake and Allison. I am rating both apartments with five stars for everything even though I don't live at either complex. I toured and talked with the staff and think I have a pretty good idea.
