The Overlook at Mile High is very centrally located - just minutes from downtown, and public transportation right outside the front door.
Secure parking (for a small monthly fee), or ample on-street parking. Inside very spacious, with vaulted ceilings.

I like living at the overlook apts because the children are respected and it is safe the be outside and the grounds are kept clean.the pool also is clean. The office staff are respectable.

These apartments are the one's closest to the downtown, with affordable rental. The environment you find here is awesome with all the trees around widespread all over the community. The amenities like swimming pool, fitness center, laundry services are provided here. I would suggest people to go ahead and give a look at the Overlook !!

To all of these people who are saying bad things about the apartments here: IM SURE YOU PEOPLE ARE THE NASTY ONES AROUND HERE... when clearily this apt. complex is VERY well maintaned. Parking is Always accessable, whether its at 8am or 11pm i can always find a close parking spot, even during broncos games i NEVER have a problem parking. The complex looks very nice all the time, from the trash to the flowers everything always looks well up to standards. The people around here are very nice, some talkative, some not, some old, some young. I feel that its a very friendly safe enviornment when im at home or not i know my things will be safe. The staff goes over and beyond to help with any needs, accomodations, or wants that i have. Everyone of them are always pleased to answer any questions i may have. Steve and Mat in the office are the nicest people you will find and will help you when ever help is wanted. The maintnance guys are great. Every time i pass them when im walking my dog or in my car they always seem to go out of there way to say hello or at least a smile, they are not shy and if you have ANYTHING wrong in your apt. they ALWAYS are right on top of it to fix things. I love how they have a on call person at all times so that way you will never be locked out of ur place or have a light burnt out b/c they will be there ASAP. The location is Outstanding and the downtown view from most apt's is incredible. So if your looking for a Great place to call "home" stop by and talk to Steve or Mat, i bet you will fall in love with there customer service!! I dont ever plan on moving cause each year this place gets better and better !!

No one ever does any maintanance in this place. I moved in to a dirty basement with all sorts of stains, and three months later, inspite my repeated complaints, still could not get maintainance to come clean it. If you have anything that ever breaks down or ever needs repair in this place, GOOD LUCK getting management to send someone to your place. Management is so good at selling you b4 you move in, but they are useless once u r moved in. this place f'n sucks! and i regret ever moving in ever single day! I have to fix everything myself while the maintanence guys ride around in their go carts all day doing absolutely nothing it seems!

THIS PLACE IS NASTY

we moved here a few months ago, knowing it was kinda the ghetto. But so far it has not been too bad. There were a few things that needed repairs when we moved in and have been fixed fairly quickly. We do hear the neighbors sometimes, but nothing more then you would expect in any apartment. The townhouse has newer windows which block out a lot of noise.

I like my one bedroom townhome. It's mostly quiet and calm. We have had a couple get togethers at my house and not had a problem getting the police called on us which is nice if you have company sometimes you don't have to worry about ******** neighbors. I don't hate it here but there are some things I would love to see changed imediately. 1) The floor creaks when you walk on it 2) Patio boards are loose and creak 3) Squirrels in the attic, yes that 's right Squirrels. I told managment about this problem. When I first moved in, it scared the crap out of me. You can hear them running, falling and fighting up and down the vaulted ceilings. Management said they would look into it. After about a week I called and asked them about it because they never called me to update me. They said the maintenance guy had them too. And... so what that means I'm supose to just live with it. They said they can't get into the attic. So... find a way. After I suggested they call an exterminator they agreed. I followed up with them again about a week later. And they said someone was coming soon. Four months later and I still have squirrels in my attic. I guess I just got use to them. They don't freak me out like they use too. Management didn't do anything about them and I don't think they ever will. 4) Security gates suck!!! I can never get in when I want to. What's up with that? I've been up to the office about 10 times to complain about not being able to get in. They switched my card 5 times and it still doesn't work. I've live there for 5 months now (in a year lease) and every month when I pay my rent I complain about not being able to get in. Last month she told me a guard should be there at 8pm until 4am. ummm NO they are not there. I usally try to get in around 8pm and can't get in. I know I'm not the only one because there is usally a line of about 2-5 cars trying to get in with their access cards and it not working. I end up having to drive around to another gate and wait for someone to come out and then sneak in. Which in hand proves anyone can get into the other gates with not much of a problem. 5) I've seen two neighbors in the area leave washers and dryers outside of their townhome for 1-2 weeks. That's just ghetto. I understand over the weekend of something if you're moving and waiting for a truck or help or whatever. But 1-2 weeks are you kidding me? And management doesn't say anything about it. 6) The grass is so over watered. It's like walking through the swamp every morning. Where our townhome is located and from where we park we need to walk through a small strip of grass. It's so over watered there are puddles of water. They once had the sprinklers on the side and back of my house on for 2 days straight. I finally called them and complained. If you have so many maintenance and security people around why didn't they notice that? <P>
Gee I guess I do hate living here. I probably will move out when my lease is up. <P>

Wow. is this place great. <P>
