Review for The Parkway Apartments

I lived at the Parkway for 2 years. Yes, the buildings are asthetically pleasing, yes they have ammenities that most management companies wouldn't dream of offering, yes it's in an ideal location, and yes it's relatively cheap given its offerings. The reality..... it's purgatory. You know that place you learned about in Bible study class. It's inbetween heaven and hell. You love the pool, you hate that the garage doors are always unlocked. You love the movie theatre, you hate that you can never get in there to watch a movie. You love the new decorations, but you hate that
you can open your apartment door with just a credit card...even when its bolted. You love your view, but you can't get an elevator to work to take you to your apartment. Let me break it down. It is a college dorm for the ellite. It's loud on the weekends, often on the weekdays. The residents that are immature seem to out number the mature ones, whether it's by vocal power alone or numbers. Management is run by a bunch of females who just finished a real-estate class or college. Their sole purpose in life is to be as pretty as they can, to attract as many young people as they can to be tenants. The perks they offer only exist to mask the fact that you will hate ever having moved there. Don't do it, there are better, more hassle free places to live in Denver. Just don't make the same mistake I made.

Info: There was a rape that occurred at the Parkway a few years back. It was not under the current management company, nevertheless, the crimnal got into the victims apartment because the garage door was left open. Please be aware of thiings like this, as you are not typically considering safety when you are admiring the pool and hot-tub.
