Couldn't ask for a more courteous and helpful office and maintenance staff !

I have never lived in an apartment complex with a more helpful or friendlier office! Anytime I have a concern or a question, I can contact them and it is taken care of immediately, no matter what size the issue is..big or small! Having lived in several different apt. complexes over the years, I know that a great office and maintenance staff is truly a rarity! It's a great location as well..it's quiet yet close to everything. I have no plans to ever move from here.

We love living at Courtney Downs! It is the first time since we moved to Colorado from Ohio that we feel like we are home. The office staff are so good to us and every other good renter. The maintenance is really good at their jobs. The grounds keepers are really good too. We love living here. We will be here for a very long time. This is a great place to live. We are in our 50's and 60's and we love being right at the Cherry Creek Ecological Park. Seniors, you would love this community too. Hope to see more seniors living here. I would recommend Courtney Downs to anyone who wants to live in a very nice clean and well taken care of place.

We moved here from Ohio in 2006. We rented an apt. at Dove Valley. What a nightmare that turned out to be!! If I could say anything to anyone about Dove Valley it would be "dont make the same mistake we made!" We have moved 4 times since we have been out here. Finally we made a good decision and decided to move to Courtney Downs! We love just love it here!!!! The grounds keepers are great! They really work hard, and they take pride in their jobs and it shows!!! They keep the grounds beautiful!! They also keep the breezeways very clean. They keep the grounds around the apartments very clean, {and yes clean of dog poop 98% of the time!} It doesnt get any better than that people!!!!! No matter where you live you are always going to have someone who doesnt clean up after their dog after hours.
The maintenance team is great. They are very intelligent and friendly. They are trust worthy and well spoken. They handle their work orders in a timely fasion and with efficiency. We are very pleased with the maintenance team.
The office staff are great.The manager and assistant manager run this property very efficiently. They take pride in the job they do too. They care about this property and the people who live here. We see them riding around the property with a clipboard writing down what needs changed or corrected. They really do a great job of managing this property. They dont put up with people who continually cause problems for other residents or cause damage to the property!! I dont know about anyone else but we appreciate that quality in the managent!!If you are looking for an apt.,we can honestly tell you that this property is well run by people who care about how you feel. If you have a problem they take care of it immediately.
If you are older and are looking for a nice apt.near a park, this is the place for you!! People always tend to write negative comments about a property but very seldom write about the positive things about a property.
I really wish more people would share their good experiences too!! Alot of negative comments come from angry people who for one reason or the other couldnt or wouldnt abide by the rules then lay the blame on management!!!! I have negative comments about Dove valley that I am sharing but I also believe in sharing the positive things also.
The only way for any of us to know which apts. are good is to share the positive comments too!
If you are an older couple this is the place to be! I have cancer and often dont feel good, even when I dont I can sit on our patio and still watch the wildlife in the park.I would recommend Courtney Downs to anyone looking for an apt.

Dear all previous and present leasee's, <P>
Our situation is the same as many of yours. I am hoping that someone else who has written a review for this complex still checks these postings. We moved from building twelve to building ten when a room mate moved out. She signed her deposit over to us for $790 when she left. The first time we spoke with the management (Beth this time,she was fired) we were assured the check would be here in three weeks or so. After a month, my girlfriend was wondering where her money was. Upon calling a second time she was informed that the carpet from the old apartment had to be replaced and her check for $480 was already in the mail. After another month, my girlfriend called again. This time, Wendy informed her that she would not be recieving any money and that we owed fifty dollars to them for the following charges: Carpet Cleaning $200 Carpet Replacement $300 Apartment Cleaning $160 <P>
The only legitimate charges were a doorknob and a towel rack totaling around fifty dollars. <P>
This management is abusing its tenants and taking ESCROW money that doesn't belong to them. <P>
It is for these reasons alone that we are filing a civil suit against the management. <P>
We are looking for others who have or have had similar problems with these scandalous property managers. <P>
We will be filing a class action law suit against Courtney Downs and we are looking for your help. <P>
