Apartment Reviews for Gateway Place Apartments - Greeley

I am shocked that there is only one positive review on here! These apartments are by far one of, if not the THE best and most reasonably priced in Greeley! Management is so friendly and understanding. They even leave birthday gifts on your door! Even the maintenance guys are genuine hard workers. Yes parking is a little tight but thats apartment living, if you want freedom to park easily, buy a house! We are college students from Denver out on our own for the first time and we feel so welcome here and not in over our heads at all. Sure there have been some tough months but management has been more than understanding. we have a lot of friends living in far worse apartments who are also paying a lot more. These are so clean, I have not had any problems with insects or mold or dust or anything like that and any problems we have had have been fixed completely within 24 hours. We also have 3 pets and it is almost impossible to get a decent place for a decent price with one pet, much less 3. except for here. they know our pets by name, they give them treats, they are really amazing people. and as far as noise problems, no we are by no means silent but we have had no lectures or anything. I love it here and I do think they accomodate well to the disabled residents, we have even received letters telling us not to park over the curb for easier wheel chair access on sidewalks. so obviously they care. I am 100% happy with these apartments!

When a friend told me about the reviews here at GateWay...I was shocked! There are so many issues I want to respond to! First let me say this...that during the time I have been living here...(and I do live very close to the manager.) I on many occasions seen the manager out walking her dog, even stopped and spoke with her...not once did she appear to be intoxicated! The remarks about the blizzard we had last December floor me!! It shows the "I'm entitled to" attitude this writer has. When unexpected hard times come across our lives...thats when we as neighbors should be out helping each other...that is what separated us from animals...humans have a natural way of responding in hard times by giving of themselves and doing what they can to help their fellow man...therefore creating a safe and secure living environment. Most people get immense satisfaction from helping their friend and neighbors! The grounds men here worked themselves to exhaustion during that time...but there was only so much that they could do! Times like that is when neighbors should get out and help each other...I watched some of them out my window...yes it was hard work...but I saw laughing and joking around...I saw men shaking each other's hands...this person should not speak for those men...from what I observed no one was complaining! Also, whenever I had a leak or needed something fixed...it was done in a timely manner! (Let me add that the maintenance men and groundskeepers have always been polite and professional!) The management here has supported us through some bad times...have treated us more like family than tenants. (and let me say that we are not what you'd say close friends or got special treatment...in fact we have probably caused more than our share of stress to the management!) I have never heard any kind of gossip...in fact when I saw the remarks that were made about GateWay, I wanted to know if the manager knew who it was...she did...but did not divulge any names...was discreet even when it came to someone who was stating such negative and untrue remarks about her! The apartments here are being remodeled as each one is vacated. The grounds are beautiful...especially during the summer, such beautiful expanses of green! The pool is one of the largest I have seen, when it comes to apartment complexes) also the weight and pool room. I want to add that the staff is very friendly and supportive here and have all been so understanding and empathic of the difficulties we have suffered....they have done more than one could have ever expected to help us. Sadly, we are going to have to leave this complex...and again the management has sympathizingly guided us in making this decision...but let me say this...when I am more stable in my life and again need to find an apartment...I will come back here if they will have me! I have noticed a few things about people...one is that those who complain the most or usually the ones who cause the most trouble!
