Apartment Reviews for Village At Bear Creek Apartments - Lakewood

My husband, son and I were looking to relocate out of state over the next year after selling our home. We knew we probably were not going to be there for the full year lease but the pricing was best for us so we signed the 1 year. We ended up finding employment out of state after just 6 short months of living at VABC. We spoke with the office and were told that they would do their best to find someone to take over our apartment so that we could get out of our lease. They called us less than a month later and had someone who moved in and we were good to go. We were also told that we could transfer our lease to another community in our new state if we wanted. unfortunately, the state we moved too does not have equity apartments. Those six months living there were great considering we hadn't lived in apartment living for quite some time. Carrie and Dustin were amazing at move in and at move out. they both worked very hard to have someone rent our place so that we did not have to continue paying our monthly rent while not living there. We weren't able to participate in many of the activities but it seemed that every month they tried to have something everyone in the community could enjoy. when we had maintenence issues, they were resolved quickly and done right. the location was ideal for us as we both worked in Golden. Since we were downsizing from a home, we had alot of items for storage and were excited that we could rent a garage and utilize it for storage. That helped us save money for our future relocation out of state. Our neighbors were friendly and we were in a quiet area of the complex. Noise level from the road was minimal as well. We were looking forward to utilizing the pool but have moved out before it opened. i'm sure it would have been a great time. Carrie and Dustin seemed to have worked very diligently in finding someone to take over our place. when they called to let us know that another family had moved in, they let us know that this was the fourth family they had tried to get in there. There dedication to helping us out really paid off. Although our time was short at VABC, my husband and I would highly recommend living here. the staff that we worked with were fantastic and they deserve to receive high kuddos!
