Apartment Reviews for Chateau Lynnewood Apartments - Littleton

Cons:
*Only Comcast Allowed As TV Provider (working for DISH, it is one of the reasons I left)
*Noise - I lived on the first floor and with the thin windows, I heard elephants walking up and down the steps.
*small kitchen
* The way the wiring is ran, the options to setup the living room are limited. Comcast will not pull the wiring under the carpets for insurance purposes
*We had a peeping tom - my female roommate had an issue, the neighboring apt buildings looked nasty
*back door always propped open
*windows are paper thin, so you can hear everything, and the weather inside the apt was very hot or cold in the living room. Bedrooms were always an uncomfortable temperature either way.
*gym, laundry, game room and community room closed at 10PM
*game room pool sticks were always broken
*gym broken down and uninviting

pros:
*enough off street parking for all tenants
*close to light rail station (littleton downtown)
*walking distance to 5 different bus lines
*on an off street but close to action
*outside of the elephants walking up and down the steps the apt was quiet
*friendly neighbors
*maintenance quick to respond and onsite
*manager onsite and quick to respond
*2 br apt a good size 800 sq ft if my memory serves correctly
*new appliances and newly painted
*elevator on premises

*Reading reviews about the drug use: I did not see it
*Laundry room being dirty: The garbage was never more than half full, floor was always swept. Looks like they never get behind the dryers
*Standing water on the ground floor is accurate, nearly got some in my apartment a couple of times
*snow in courtyard is accurate, that is because the sidewalks around the sides are open and clear, its just the middle sidewalk though the courtyard that isnt touched
*bedbugs I never had an issue with, I did get ants in the bathroom and the kitchen. A couple of ant traps and that issue was resolved
*never seen a cop on site, never seen a situation where one would have been required
*neighbors were never in my business. I went to the tenant parties and that is all I ever heard of any of them. I waved hello to some of them as I entered my apartment if they were outside.

Overall:

This is an average apartment building with a bunch of long term tenants. I never had any problems except for that one run in with the peeping tom. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an affordable average place in Littleton. If you look around, you will find for the quality of this place is much more expensive in this area. You can find cheaper places, but the quality is much worse.

If they fixed the windows being single pane and resolved the elephants on the steps and allow satellite TV I would probably still be living there until I finished saving up for a house.
