Apartment Review for The Legacy Apartments

Legacy apts. is the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. The location is terrible. It's close to a farm and on some days all you can smell is manure. When I use to live there the fire alarm would go off constantly day and night.

The staff is incompetent. When I moved out I owed one month of rent. Legacy sent me a bill for two months. I contacted them and told them that they had made a mistake. They agreed that they had made a mistake and that they would send me the adjusted bill. That never happened. The next thing I know a collection agency is breathing down my neck for $1600. I contacted Legacy about the bill. They said that I didn't really owe them for two months, it was one and the extra $800 was for a re-let fee. I asked them if they had re-let my apartment while I was gone. They said "no". What the heck is the relet fee for??

I disputed the re-let fee and have settled with them since. This place will try to screw you so don't live there. The whole time I was there I was NEVER late with a payment and this is how they treat you?? I hate to see how they treat someone who is deliquent.
