Review for Willington Oaks Apartments

Willington Oaks is a joke. Our first month here we became infected with Ecoli and couldn’t drink/use the water for over a month and instead had to get our water from a tanker truck parked outside. You’d think we’d get some kind of compensation or something right? Yeah, right. If you call a plastic bag with some paper plates and plastic cups hanging from our door compensation, then maybe. The office staff is a ridiculous, we’ve spent countless hours just trying to get someone to return our call about a simple question about parking passes. Then we had a question about breaking our lease, and we were told that the only penalty was a $200 fee, then we were out. We went to drop of the papers and the lady we spoke to said she misunderstood the policy, and it was actually $200 AND the rest of the lease. And she was the manager! New England Realty sucked, and the new management Konover Residential is just as bad, if not worse. The condition of the apartment sucks too, there is this disgusting odor coming from the drain whenever the water is used, we don’t use the cabinets because they’re moldy and stinky, and the carpeting here looks and smells original to the apartment. Rules are strict too, whether it’s parking, noise, or pets there’s ALWAYS a notice about something stuck in our door. And here are the spring weekend rules which first showed up in Febuary:
On the Wednesday that Spring Weekend commences, there will be a 2 guest per apartment limit. Mangement and state troopers will be enforcing this policy…
Both residents driving in and residents walking in to the community myst show government issued IDs.
All dumpsters will be removed prior to Spring Weekend
No Kegs
No bands/live music
Any violation will be considered a lease violation and will be forwarded to our attorney for legal action.
And that’s just the beginning of it, I could go on…but I won’t. Do yourself a favor and skip Willy Oaks.
