Ups and Downs

This being my first apartment I didn't think it was too bad for the Price. It is on 16th street which has great Meto bus access, but lots of sirens. If you have your windows closed, you can't hear much. Only thing I would ever hear from neibors was above me and that was if they dropped something heavy like a cup or something. Managment was... not all that bad... Like most people in their job they just want to be left alone to work on what ever it is they are doing. Some staff are very nice and helpfull. I just didn't always get the warm and fuzzy from some of them. Parking wasn't too bad, $50 a month if they have a spot for you in the garage, which I never got. Street parking is nice since I only had to park at most 2 blocks away and that is when it's church day. (there are about 10 churches with in just a few blocks) Insects were like friends that you got to know... but friends you wanted to leave. Used to be rats out side but that was taken care of. You need your key to enter the building... that's about all the security there is, besides the barbwire fence that goes around the back side. Someone on staff 24/7 that can let you in if you lose your key.

All in all... Yes I would move back. If I was out of the military making more money, then no. But I do miss it sometimes.
