Hamilton House sits below Doupont Circle and a little over 2 miles from the center of DC. The complex provides great housing for anyone attending The George Washington University. Tenants have easy access to public transportation with multiple bus stops in the area and metro stops right across the street. The world's embassies are housed just up the street from the building. One reviewer commented on the efficient maintenance and the amazing proximity to Trader Joe's and Safeway. However, renters are frustrated by the noise and constant construction in the area.

Just don't be on the side that faces the St. Gregory Hotel and the garbage dumpsters. If you do, you can expect loud, annoying garbage trucks 3 or 4 times every morning.
