Apartment Reviews for The Park Monroe Apartments - Washington

I've been at the Park Monroe for about 4 months now so you decide how much weight to give what I say.

Rental office personnel are extremely friendly, polite and helpful, but not intrusive. Security is vigilant but not annoyingly so and also extremely friendly.

The prices are high, but it's a popular area in the nation's capital so that's to be expected. I live in a studio that is small but a good size for just me. I don't feel cramped, although I would love a 1-bedroom (too expensive).

I moved in at the beginning of summer and while in other places I have always had to combat roaches and other nefarious creatures, I have had no problems all summer - a first for me. I have also had no security issues and have not heard of any. I don't have a car so I can't comment on anything parking-related.

All in all I am very happy that I chose the Park Monroe over other buildings in the area.

The apartments are newly renovated with nice layouts. Lots of light! However, in the winter, hot water may or may not be available and the heater/ac is very expensive to opperate ($150/month).
