Apartment Reviews for Prides Court Apartments - Newark

This place SUCKS, **** roaches, MUSIC & FIGHTING 24/7 Mgt does NOTHING to fix this problem. Dog **** everywhere outside, including in the bldgs. 2 Pitbulls in my bldg alone, dogs rarely on leashes, just let out of bldgs to do their business. Very unsafe for anyone to live. Used to be a decent place to live years ago. Begged mgmt to put me on 3rd floor to control some music, **** no, said none available, but hmmmm see all sorts of them around! I have lost all trust and respect for Morgan Properties, just like paying rent before the 1st for a drawing, been doing it for a year, never won, just another LIE, so I stopped putting my name in. Neighbors buddies sit on the stairs, smoking and drinking and partying, security DOES NOTHING when called, yet I have to listen to it and smell their **** smoke, they won't leave, always says 'NO ENGLISH'. You live in USA, learn the language. Next thing you know it will go back to when I first moved here, they will start blocking the steps into the building, they actually did it once until I threatened to call the police, they seemed to understand English then. Again mgt did NOTHING. Only nice thing I have to say about this place is maintenance is good, and I know mgt hands are tied because of corporate on some things, but not the music, not the fighting, not the strangers sitting in MY hallways, smoking and drinking and raising ****. I have had friends visit from the West coast, they can't believe how awful this place is and how RUDE the neighbors are.
Don't move here unless you plan on never being home. I can't even sleep in my own bed because of all the music that comes from the apts below me, that is pretty **** sad, been complaining for almost ONE FULL YEAR, everyone got a letter, things just got worse. That is their solution, send a letter out, when tenants allow their dogs to **** in the hallways, do you really think they care about a letter being sent or one of the notices above mailboxes? Like this great one, we are going to monitor tenants who don't clean up after their dogs, WHO IS GOING TO MONITOR THIS? Do you really think the tenants care? They have PIT BULLS and mgt doesn't even care, you think they care about paying rent on time, or where their dogs ****? Good gawd. Letters, mgmt at it's best! Kick these low lifes out, get some good respectful folks in here, and I bet the ratings go up. They have lost a GREAT tenant in me, cause now I don't give a crap about anything here, finally taking on the mentality of neighbors and Morgan Properties. They don't care, why the **** should I care about it.
