Apartment Reviews for Wawaset Place Apartments
You can do better...

The neighborhood these apartments are located in is nice and quiet. That's where the positive attributes end. I've since moved and I can't say I miss the place. It was a common occurance for me to come home at night and be greeted with two or three roaches the size of ponies hanging out in my living room. The light in my kitchem would inexplicably stop working. When I asked for someone to fix it, I was informed that it was my fault because I used a 75 watt bulb! It was also common for my kitchen sink and tub to clog requiring frequent "service".
The other tenants for the most part are hard working folks. However there is a noticeable percentage of crazies and wannabe thugs to to make you wonder what you got yourself into. They have ample parking. But, it was not uncommon for cars to be broken into or vandalized and all the management could do was shrug thier shoulders.
The complex was sold to new management in June or July 2008. They are all too ready to inform you your rent is a day late with threatening letters even though you consistently paid on time. When you call them with a question that dosen't involve them making money, they act as though they are doing you a tremendous favor by speaking with you.
If you want a cheap apartment to live for a short time, this is the place. If you are in a position where have to renew your lease, insist on a month-to-month arrangement so you can cut ties easily.
Bottom line: you can find a better place than this.
