Apartment Reviews for One51place - Alachua

I am a single woman living by myself and have always felt safe and secure living here.

I have lived here happily for 4 years. I was one of the first residents here and hope I never have to leave. One51Place is comfortable, convenient, and offers everything I could possibly want in an apartment home.

I am really happy living here and think some of the negative reviews I have read on the internet have over exaggerated the issues.

When I used to own a house, I always had to call for maintenance service on one thing or the other; and still had to wait for a service technician.

At least since I moved here, if it is an emergency they do come right away! The few maintenance calls I have placed have been handled the same day.

Both the maintenance and office staff here are always friendly, helpful, professional, and greet you with a smile; unlike many other places you may find to live.

And, Alachua, FL has proven itself to be a great small town to live in.

I have met a lot of wonderful people while living here and the majority of them have been friendly, educated, hard working, down home family folks that I have really enjoyed getting to know.

The School District seems to be really good too, from what my neighbors with children tell me.

The noise level is much less than it would be in any comparable complex you would find in neighboring Gainesville, FL. I know I have tried that scene. People out here at One51Place settle in earlier and seem to have more respect for their neighbor’s.

The complainers should keep in mind it is much easier and cheaper on the purse strings to live here; than to own, maintain, and pay taxes on a house and property.

I think this is a great place to live, with great people for neighbors, and I feel I get a great bang for my buck with the beautiful apartment home I live in here.

Living, working, playing; it's all in reach while living in this friendly, close-knit community.

The spirit of those working here (i.e. Marsha, Harry, Ganiene, Twanya, Cheryl, Michelle and Michael) ensures that the buildings and grounds are safe, relaxing, and aesthetically appealing.

An added plus is that neighbors get to know one another comfortably at resident activities and dinners. Activities include both adults and children. The staff promotes balcony beautification contest and holiday decorating contest, which are eagerly supported by the people living here. These things and much more enhance the livability and homey feel of these apartments.

In short, One51Place offers all the things one could want our home to be.

I have an elegant apartment in a serene setting with all the extras.

Having restaurants, shopping, banking, and a few more necessities of everyday life close by offers an added bonus too.

It's well managed by on property staff members that greet me with a smile and are always friendly and helpful in any way they can be.

Twice I've needed to contact maintenance; I've had an immediate response.

The pool, mail center, trash compactor, and designated pet walk areas are all conveniently located.

It's a safe, clean, quiet, neighborly place to call home. Perfect for families and professionals alike to live.

For me, One51Place has not only met but exceeded my expectations and I would unhesitatingly recommend One51Place as a great place to live.

Living here has been an overall enjoyable experience and great place to call “our home” over the past few years.

When making a decision to move to the City of Alachua, FL in 2008, we realized right away One51Place Luxury Apartment Homes was the perfect place for us as we planned to leave our old home for a new one.

Rath/Harper and Associates “One51Place” offered amenities to serve our every need, a variety of floor plans, color schemes, exceptional views, welcoming neighbors, and a complete Office Staff that was first rate.

We first chose a beautiful 2/2 that was very enjoyable. When signing our fourth lease we switched over to a spacious 1/1 that we've found to be just as enjoyable. The staff was quite helpful and generous in facilitating our relocation to what would suit our current needs best. Everything was handled in a professional and timely manner with as little stress to us as possible, making our rather difficult time much more bearable.

Our thanks and appreciation go out in abundance to "Marsha D." and the rest of the staff here for being all they can be when it comes to adding to life’s pleasures in Alachua, FL at One51Place.

He's the worst! What a mindless jerk! He doesn't know his *** from his head but he thinks he's charming. Flirts a lot but he's like, 50 years old!

Heh, the rent is high here, don't expect much from management. The apts are nice and maintenance is average

I would, hands down, recommend one 51 place to anyone looking for an apartment complex to call home. The community is only a year old, and the apartments are brand new! The grounds are kept up very well, and the amenities are awesome (indoor basketball court, business center with computers that actually work, a movie theater with full surround sound, fitness center with the exact same equiptment as gainesville health and fitness- Precor machines.) Not to mention the fact that its only a 12 minute drive to UF, and its so quiet out here you can literally sleep all day.

Not only does the office staff present themselves in a very professional way, they also are very friendly and eager to lend a hand. Everyone from the Housekeeper to the Maintenance Men to the Leasing Girls to the Property and Assistant Manager are very easy to work with. Recently, the staff planned some tenant parties, and to be completely honest, they did a great job planning and meeting the needs of everyone that was there.

The only thing that sticks out in my mind, as far as an "issue I had with the complex" is that the garbage dumpster was frequently broken, due to the fact that no one cares enough to break down their boxes, or not cram 3 bags into the chute at once.

All in all, if you are looking for a place to live, One 51 Place is your best bet!

Place is new and nice. My problems thus far have been: 1) A/C did not work for the first 4 days. Management did not get their 24hr maintenence service there until after the weekend. It must be 24hr. service M-F. 2) I've lived here for over a month and still don't have a mail box. I ask the front office and they say " I don't know when we are going to get mailboxes". My response do your job and find out, but still no mailbox. 3) I was told that the apartments are built with quality from beginning to end, except for the A/C or heater not working for four days, the doors to my spare bedroom sticking, the carpet having paint stains on it, the carpet itself having wrinkles in it. Rear sliding screen door not working properly, and oh yeah I've KILLED 7 SPIDERS IN MY NEW APARTMENT WITH SUPPOSED PEST CONTROLL. <P>
The apartments are nice, but I expect certain things to be available to me when I pay for them such as : Mailboxes, Gym, Pool, 24hr. maintence, and did I mention Mailboxes. <P>
You pay $915.00 a month you expect these things. <P>
