Apartment Review for Barrington At Mirror Lake

Barrington has a great outdoor environment if you do not count all the crime. However, the inside of these apartments are ancient and not to mention paint and plaster is horrendous. They look for anyway to get more money out of you whether its thru your renewal (which they tried to charge 150 more a month + sign a 15 month lease for that price), trash fines, or any other ridiculous fines they can come up with. I have lived here almost 3 years and management keeps getting worse, they act like our concerns cost to much money for them to try and solve, as well as reason with lies on how nothing is wrong, like my AC bill, which doubled this past summer and 4 months after i started the investigation of why, maintanence fianlly figured out that my ac coils were clogged, which were supposed to have been cleaned 1 month prior lol thats a joke he even said nobody had cleaned it in a long time from the looks of it and the hot water heater was only functioning partialy because only half of the circuit panel wasnt working. No solution to that problem I was left paying almost 250 every month this summer with no partial refund for their lack of concern. Last thing don't trust their subcontractors such as painters and floor installers, because after their work was done, I was left w/ an emerald ring and gold necklace, which were missing.
