Review for Regency / Lennox Court Apartments

This was my first apartment by myself on my own and I lived there for 2 years. NOw that I live in a decent house in a decent neighborhood, I look back and ask myself "What the hell were you thinking." There were groups of people loitering all hours of the day and night all over the group of apartment complexes selling drugs, fighting, drinking, and causing problems to everyone in their path. The entire complex was littered with trash. When people hung out in the overly crowded parking lots, they will sit and lean on anyones car. Doesnt matter if they know you or not. Onsite laundry is a joke when 3 out of the four washers and dryers are broken most of the time with no warning signs until it takes all of your money and doesnt wash your clothes. All-around bad neighborhood. Roaches were a common problem. Loud music was played all hours of the night in the parking lots right outside the bedroom windows. There was a huge, potentially beautiful pool in the middle of the complex. UNfortunately for the two years i resided here, it was all roped off and there was never any water in it besides the dirty stagnant rain water. When it rains, it floods the courtyard right out front of your front door. At night, people would knock at my door all hours of the night and when i wouldnt answer the door, they tried to open the door. Thank god for locks. Tons of kids everywhere running around with NO parental supervision. No one speaks any English here. Not the other tenants. NOt the maintenence staff. Nice price for the apartment but you defintiely get what you pay for. Dont ever turn your back here. If you are looking for any type of decency in your future place of recidence, dont stop here. Keep looking.
