Been here 2 years now... description below ( over a year ago )

This is by far the best value apt. in daytona. The rent is the cheapest you'll find and everything is included but the internet, phone, and electric. Washer and dryer are in the unit and it overlooks a cute lake. Being Daytona, it's not the most comfortable walking around at night by yourself but is there any place like that in this awful area? That being said, we are right on the border of Port Orange (a lot nicer and safer area) which makes this not all that bad of a location. You can walk to Publix, Walgreens and Blockbuster too which is nice. It's nice and bright in the apt with the light carpeting. Appliances and cabinets need updating but that's it. I'd keep it on your list though! :) And the management: She's not that bad...she just doesn't like to shake hands which makes her seem rude. You're only in there once a month though anyway....

Diane is very short with all tenants and will lie to you to get you to leave the office so she can continue to gossip with the staff. If she tells you something make sure to get it in writing and save it beacuse when it comes up again she will tell you something different.

Ok, ok...enough with all the Diane comments...she needs a man maybe?...But Emerald Park is still the Best Address and Value in Daytona Beach!...Free Cable and Free Water with Washer/Dryers in every unit is a big positive!..Go look around and you'll come back to Emarld Park, the landscape is very impressive when you bring home a guest....I mind my own business and keep away from Diane as much as I can...Tara is great, sweet attractive young blond who balances out teh Diana factor....the only place better would be Legacy at Crytal Lake about 1.5miles from Emerald Park, but you'll be paying for it!...So you'll be back to Emerald Park telling yourself, they have it all included in the rent!...... Good Luck and remember, life is about doing for others and by that, the Lord will Bless you ten fold...

One of the biggest assets is the washer and drier in every unit as opposed to having a community washer and drier where you bring quarters. Only two other complexes have that in the Daytona Beach Area, next door at Misty Springs and Fisherman's Landing in Ormond Beach. Assigned parking is another asset, no competition for parking unless you own two vehicles. Though it is a few blocks from Embry Riddle, it's surprizing to see how many Senior Citizens are living here as well. If you don't own Realestate, this would be the next best thing. I'm back for a second time. The first time was from 1991 to 1993 when the place was called Cypress Landings.

I currently live at Emerald Park Apts. I like the apt., the location and the pretty lake out back. What I don't like is the attitude of Diane at the office. BIG TIME ATTITUDE PROBLEM!

The property is well-kept, quiet, and close to all living necessities. However, the management team can be difficult at times, specifically Diane. I have read the other reviews and agree with the 2nd review - maintenance will walk right in without knocking, and, like many other apartment complexes, are very untimely in responding to requests.
I have enjoyed my stay at Emerald Park Apts., despite the occasional problem.
