I have lived here for two years. The first year was great, no issues at all. In the second year there has been so much crime and no one seems to do anything about it. There has been countless car break-ins, and just in the past few weeks two apartment break-ins that I know of. There was also an incident a few months ago, when the leasing manager was letting her son stay in the model apartment while he was wanted for armed robbery in palm coast. When calling to find out why police dogs and cops with riffles were all over the property, I was told "not to worry. It didnt have anything to do with the apartments." To this day she is still working as a leasing manager in the office. With all of the crime going on here lately you would think they would put up cameras to protect the property. But they wont, its all about the money with Lake Forest, they dont care about the safety of the people who live here.

Lake Forest is a little pricey even compared to the ones right around it, but the staff makes it worth it. They were so helpful when we moved in and they are willing to do anything to make things easier. Maintenance is also very nice. Our apartment has a beautiful view and we have plenty of room. They remember my name, my husband's name, my dogs name, even my family when they come and visit! I highly reccomend living here...

I've lived here for going on three years now with my boyfriend. We have been very happy so far. We have a really nice apartment and they set us up with exactly what we asked for when we moved in. The buildings are older and sometimes things go wrong, but the maintenance does the best they can. We even got a new dishwasher after like a year because ours was leaking. The peple in the office know who we are and they'll help you out with anything you need. I would reccomend to anyone moving in here, other places in Daytona won't be as nice. <P>
