Apartment Review for Sutton Place

This is the worst place I have ever lived. The management consistently are uncooperative and clearly entrenched (the one lady has been there for about 13 years). The development is relatively clean and well lighted. The maintainance is first rate (personnel) however the ladies in the office are NOT! They will WALK in on your apartment with nary a knock. When rent falls on a sunday or a holiday expect a snide threatening letter posted by the mailbox stating rent is due on Sunday so "pay or expect to get fined. " Ditto with any special work in the development. The lawn cutting starts like clockwork about 7:00 AM wednesday morning every week. The entire attitude of the front office is that somehow they are doing you a favor renting to you. Due to the proximity to Nova Rd expect random street people to walk through or ride through. This is not the place to leave any door unlocked for even a moment. There is some incident of burglary or assault by outside residents about every 6 to 8 months. Overall the office staff lack a semblance of business sense or tact. The apartment itself was serviceable and clean. For the money it was a great value and in terms of the housing it was very nice. The deal breaker was the office staff. They should have been fired long ago. I left and I do not recommend this place to anyone. <P>
