The management and apartment complex was a dream come true untill you move out. The grounds, pool ect. was exsquite. They were polite and sweet meeting your every need. They fix or replace things quickly. Their repair man lives there and comes right away. The diswasher was poor and constantly broke- cheap GE's. We hated to move but we wanted to move into our newly built home. We will never move back if we go back to apartment living because of the way we were treated when we left. They nit pick over little things: dust on ceiling fans (apx $15), residue (not grim) on the inside of the oven and refrigerator (apx $45), the grout between the tiles appear darker and need to be bleached, any small marks on the walls and carpet ($$$). They say the whole apartment will need to be repainted because of a couple of smuges smaller than your pinky, because they can't match the white paint. We are very neat and clean people but they kept almost all of our deposit. I took two days to personally clean it from top to bottom after the furniture was out but it didn't suit them. They inspected our apartment without us and didn't allow us to make corrections. We still had two weeks left before we had to be out. They started cleaning and came in without asking us if it was OK before hand. They said we were out and they had assumed since they had one of the sets of keys we were through and it was their right that they had already started the cleaning process and nothing could be done. They became very cold and told us they had before and after pictures and we could deal directly with their lawyers. I had a bag with personal belongings in it that they called trash. When I came back the day after the move they had thrown it out and charged me apx. $15 for its removal. Even though it was technically still our apartment for two more weeks. All we had left was $90 of our deposit. They even went so far as to insult me saying the apartment was trashed and they might send me a bill. I felt violated and anxiously waited for a month and a half till they sent my paultry refund. Then I ask after their nit picking, If the apartment was supposedly trashed how did I get $90 back?
