Asbury Park charged us an extra $100 per month because we rented with a six month lease. They did not have the place ready for us to move in and had a carpet so called shampoo the night before we moved in. We were not allowed to see the apt before the day we moved in so we didn't know what we were getting. The apt was dirty. The floors were horrid. We were charged about $600 in deposits which we got half back when we moved out. They nickeled and dimed us for cleaning, carpet cleaning and painting and we never even put one nail in the wall or hung anything. The toilet in the master bath never worked right. We never could use the security system as it was never fixed. The dishwasher didn't work right and neither did the stove. You could hear the Publix trucks all day and night. The rent was too high for what we got.
