The apartment itself is spacious and fairly well maintained. You hear no more noise than is expected living in an apartment. We are on the ground floor and do not hear our neighbors when they are in their apartments, and barely hear them when they are in the common areas.
There are some minor issues such as the wall around the shower head is rotten and some of the electrical outlets do not work properly. Also, the carpet smells of dog urine by the front door and the staff does not want to replace it.
The complex is pretty with all the Spanish Moss and it is set far enough off the road that you can forget you are right against a busy road. It would be nice to see some of the fallen trees removed though. As previously stated, the main gate is usually open, in fact it has only been operational about 10 of the days that we have lived here. Parking has not been an issue for us, although we live on an end unit and that may have something to do with it.
The office staff unfortunately is hit or miss on maintenance requests. Service all depends on who you speak with. It is ddiappointing to go in with a request for service , be told, "It will be taken care of." and then nothing is done. We had some issues fixed within 48 hours, some within a week and some took a month to resolve, some are still unresolved and that is disappointing.
Also, why does this "newish" complex not have a website?
